After completion of his graduation from the prestigeous Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College, Kolkata, he completed his Post Graduation in General Medicine from the Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh followed by the most coveted Member of Royal College of Physicians, London (MRCP UK). 

He has been an extremely important Key opinion leader (KOL) in the fiedl of rheumatology, great orator and excellent teacher.
